Honey Walnut Shrimp

Honey walnut shrimp is a crispy and creamy dish featuring golden-fried shrimp tossed in a sweet honey mayonnaise glaze and topped with crunchy candied walnuts.

Ingredients

  • Blue Diamond Shrimp 1 lb
  • Water 1/2 Cup
  • C&H Sugar 1/2 Cup
  • Walnut Halves 1/2 Cup
  • Honey 1 1/2 tsp
  • Kewpie Mayo 3 Tbsp
  • Carnation Condensed Milk 1 1/2 tsp
  • Salt Proper Amount
  • Pepper Proper Amount
  • Egg 1
  • Flying Horse Tapioca Starch 1/2 cup

Directions

  1. In a skillet, add in equal parts of water and sugar with medium low heat. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved and add in the walnut halves. Evenly coat the syrup mix around the walnut halves, and set it aside.
  2. In a small bowl, mix honey, mayonnaise, condense milk together to make the glaze mixture.
  3. In a bowl, mix peeled and deveined shrimp, mix with salt, pepper and egg. Coat each shrimp evenly with corn starch.
  4. In a skillet with medium high heat, fry the shrimp until it's golden brown and set it aside.
  5. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with the glaze mixture and evenly coat. Add in candied walnut, and it's ready to eat!
