Chow Mein

Ingredients

  • 12 oz chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 1 cup cabbage
  • 1/2 onion (sliced)
  • 1 cup sliced beef or chicken
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp oil

Directions

  1. Boil noodles briefly and drain well.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  3. Cook meat until browned, then remove.
  4. Stir-fry onion and cabbage for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add noodles and soy sauce, then toss well.
  6. Return meat to the pan.
  7. Drizzle sesame oil and top with bean sprouts.
  8. Cook for 2 more minutes and serve.
