Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken or pork
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 4 cloves garlic (crushed)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup water
Directions
- Combine soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, bay leaves, pepper, and water in a pot.
- Add meat and marinate for 30 minutes if possible.
- Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30–40 minutes until the meat is tender.
- Serve hot with rice.
