Ingredients
- Assorted vegetables (sweet potato, bell pepper, zucchini)
- 8–10 shrimp (peeled, deveined)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 egg
- 1 cup ice-cold water
- Oil for deep frying
- Tempura dipping sauce
Directions
- Mix egg and ice-cold water; stir in flour lightly so the batter remains slightly lumpy.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C).
- Dip vegetables and shrimp in batter and fry until golden, about 2–3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with dipping sauce.
